Questions service companies ask.
Are the tools supplied with field personnel?
Yes. The offering is tools with field personnel. Discuss the responsibilities, coverage and job schedule with MWD Solutions so the proposed scope is clear.
Can a tool be added to our existing MWD setup?
That requires a configuration review. Mechanical fit, connections, power, data interfaces, telemetry and surface decoding all need to be checked against the selected tool. A product’s nominal size does not establish compatibility on its own.
Who owns the reporting and on-location decisions?
Agree on those responsibilities as part of the scope. Identify the people responsible for measurement quality, reporting, interpretation, operational decisions and escalation before the run.
How do we confirm availability and commercial terms?
Send the location, expected start, duration, tool requirements and personnel scope. Availability, mobilization, coverage and commercial terms are confirmed for the proposed job.
Current reports and documented settings help the next person understand the run. Define the reporting expectations and communication path alongside the tool configuration. These are the working standards described in the September 15 company post.
